President and CEO
Ted Mayes
Ted Mayes, President/CEO of Bristlecone Structures, is a native of California. His family made the arduous journey to California during the Gold Rush. Here they put their talents to work initially in construction and ranching. Later they branched out into land development and banking. I guess you could say construction was in Ted's blood. After graduating from college with an engineering degree, Ted joined one of the world's largest construction companies to build heavy industrial projects all across the US and overseas. It was good training that led him to obtain his own general contractor's license in 1979. Since then he has built several successful businesses devoted to project management, land development and construction. Ted has managed projects with over a thousand people and budgets of over 1/2 billion dollars. Bristlecone Structures has been active in residential, commercial and public works projects since 2005.
In his spare time Ted likes racing his sail boat, camping, back packing, fishing and hanging out with his family.
